Mr Edwin Morris
Mr Edwin Morris was appointed Chief Financial Officer in September 2013. His main responsibility includes overseeing all aspects of financial, accounting, compliance and risk management, as well as working with the Chief Executive Officer on major strategic issues related to the company.
Mr Morris began his career with the Swire group in 2005 and worked at HUD Group (Hong Kong United Dockyard), a joint venture between Swire Pacific and Hutchison Whampoa. Prior to Asia Miles, Mr Morris was Financial Controller of Swire Properties and played a critical role in the company’s public listing on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in January 2012.
Having started his career with Arthur Andersen in Sydney, Mr Morris has also worked at PwC and Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong.
He is a Chartered Accountant (Australia), a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds an Executive MBA from Kellogg-HKUST.
Mr Morris is interested in the dynamics of team sports. He is currently captain of his alumni dragon boat team. Mr Morris also enjoys the occasional quiet read, particularly biographies.
