Speakers’ Bios
Mr. David Li is the CEO & President, Executive Director of the Board of CIMC Vehicles (Group) Co., Ltd. and Member of CIMC Group’s Executive Committee. He is also the former Vice Chairman of the China Automobile Industry Association (2012-2020) and former President/Chairman of the China Special Vehicles Association (2012-2020).
Mr. Li joined CIMC in 1987 and was mainly responsible for the containers business. In 2002, he was appointed to and tasked with building up CIMC Vehicles’ business. Mr. Li built the division from scratch and this initial point of weakness has since progressed to a position of strength today, forging an entrepreneurial development path along the way.
Mr. Li obtained his Bachelors degree in Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Master of Science degree at Southern Connecticut State University. In October 2016, he was appointed Adjunct Professor at Jiangsu University. In June 2017, Mr. Li was appointed Visiting Professor at Shenzhen University.
Ms. Flora Mao is currently the Vice President & Secretary of the Board of Directors of CIMC Vehicles. She was also formerly the Director of Human Resources from 2018 to 2022. Ms. Mao graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Master’s degree of Business Administration (MBA). She later obtained her Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) degree at Business School Netherlands.
