Abstract
DFI Retail Group is a leading pan-Asian retailer, operating over 10,000 outlets and employed some 230,000 team members as of 2021. The group initiated the launch of Hong Kong’s biggest customer rewards club app, yuu. Available for download on the App Store and Google Play Store and also available as a WeChat mini programme, yuu connects a wide range of brands together on one platform, bringing convenience to all customers. The outlets around the city covered in the scheme include: Wellcome, Mannings, 7-Eleven, Ikea, KFC, Pizza Hut, among others, allowing members to earn more points, in more places and redeem more rewards faster than ever before. Yuu brings tremendous potential to enhance customer shopping experience through digital customer data analytics.
David’s Bio
David Batchelor is a founder member of yuu rewards. He has had a 13-year career in finance, spanning Europe and Asia, predominantly in consumer businesses. David moved to Hong Kong 6 years ago and led the Corporate Finance team at DFI before establishing the Digital Finance Team. A graduate of the Universities of Edinburgh (MA Linguistics) and Leeds (MA Business and Chinese), David is Chartered Management Accountant.
Anushree’s Bio
Anushree Khosla is a founder member of yuu rewards. She has extensive experience in coalition loyalty and CRM programmes; launching and managing large programmes as well as loyalty and CRM Strategy consulting in multiple markets in Asia. She has been in Hong Kong for 8 years and prior to yuu, she has previously worked with Asia Miles, AIMIA, Payback and American Express.
