HKU Business School Announces the Official Launch of the HKU-Tel Aviv Innovation Hub

HKU Business School announced the official launch of the HKU-Tel Aviv Innovation Hub in Tel-Aviv, Israel on August 1, 2022. Professor Hongbin Cai, Dean of HKU Business and Professor Roni Michaely, Founder and Executive Director of the Hub delivered welcome speeches at the ceremony, and celebrated this momentous occasion with numerous alumni, corporate partners and distinguished guests.

As an extended arm of HKU Business School to strengthen our impact globally, the HKU-Tel Aviv Innovation Hub is dedicated to deepening engagements between the academic, business and technology communities of Israel, Greater China and Hong Kong, promoting cross-border collaborations and partnerships. The Hub also offers unique programmes to foster educational exchange, technological innovation, and investment opportunities, enabling us to become an incubator for business talent.

Professor Guojun He Awarded the Faculty Outstanding Researcher Award 2023-24
This year's Faculty Outstanding Researcher Award goes to Professor Guojun He, an esteemed scholar in Environmental Economics! Professor He is a leading scholar specialising in Environmental Economics. His research aims to address some of the most challenging problems faced by developing countries and seeks to produce empirically grounded estimates for optimal policy design. His research accomplishments have been evidenced by having four articles published in "A" journals over the past five years, including the American Economic Review, Journal of Public Economics and Quarterly Journal of Economics.
