The Faculty of Business and Economics hosted more than 20 sessions of admission seminars and programme talks as well as a programme information exhibition  at the HKU Information Day held on November 3, 2018. Thousands of guests were attracted to this annual event. Prospective students and their parents were able to interact with our faculty members and student ambassadors, and learned about the academic and campus life in HKU.

HKU Business School Reveals 1.7 Times Surge in Employee Burnout Post-COVID; Innovative Interventions Essential for Stress Reduction and Customer Service Excellence
Institute of Behavioural and Decision Science (IBDS) at HKU Business School (HKUBS), in collaboration with the Hong Kong Association for Customer Service Excellence (HKACE), conducted a series of new research studies covering approximately 1,000 employees from the service industry across both the public and private sectors in Hong Kong. The studies found that the employee burnout rate has increased by 1.7 times compared to pre-pandemic levels.

We are thrilled to announce that our students have won the Third Prize in The Third KPMG ESG Case Study Competition. The competition, jointly organised by HKU Jockey Club Enterprise Sustainability Global Research Institute, KPMG China, and Renmin University, aims to enhance students' ability to analyse ESG business cases, foster a meaningful dialogue among students, businesses, and society, and pave the way for sustainable development.
