Faculty Teaching Retreat 2022 successfully held

The Faculty Teaching Retreat 2022, after a hiatus arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, was successfully held at the Faculty’s new facility at Two Exchange Square in Central on August 26, 2022.  This fruitful event brought together over 80 Faculty members from the six Academic Areas before the new academic year commences.

Following the opening remarks by the Dean which highlighted the importance of teaching, the Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning), Dr Olivia Leung, presented an update on the actions taken since the last Retreat and also took the opportunity to introduce new Faculty members.

The morning session of the Retreat was co-organised with the Asia Case Research Centre (ACRC), where the speaker, Mr. David Lee, demonstrated how he made use of his teaching case in classroom and shed light on diversity through the case. This hybrid session was also attended by participants from India, Bangladesh and Vietnam on Zoom.
