FBE students wins four prizes in the HKSI Institute Scholarship Programme 2019

Four undergraduate FBE students took part in the HKSI Institute Scholarship Programme 2019 and were awarded Champion, 1st Runner-up, 3rd Runner-up and Finalist.

 

Since its launch in 2004, HKSI Institute Scholarship Programme has provided university students an avenue to widen their horizons and advance their career development for the financial industry.

 

Participating students were required to write an 1000 word essay on the topic “How can your career development contribute to uphold Hong Kong’s status of international financial center?”. Selected finalists will be teamed up to work on a research project and presentation at Outreach Committee. Awardees will be offered cash prizes and job shadowing opportunities at renowned companies including CBH Asia and Morgan Stanley.

1st Runner-up – Leung Ming Hin, Benson

港大经管学院中国经济研究所联同北京大学香港校友会举办的第五届“香港大学中国经济季度论坛”于1月23日圆满举行。论坛云集了多位著名经济学者和工商界领袖,共同探讨中国政策方向对全球经济的影响以及当前中国经济的热门议题。一众讲者透过主题演讲及专题讨论,就中国宏观经济、金融及国际贸易在全球格局演变下所面临的挑战和机遇分享了宝贵见解。论坛于香港大学本部陆佑堂举行,共吸引近350位工商界领袖、杰出学者、校友和学生出席。
