Mr Benjamin Hung Pi Cheng, JP
Mr Benjamin Hung is currently Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited.
Mr Hung joined Standard Chartered in 1992 and has held a number of senior management positions in both Wholesale and Consumer Banking. Outside of Hong Kong, Mr Hung has international banking experience in the United Kingdom and in Canada.
Mr Hung is Vice-Chairman of the Hong Kong Association of Banks. He is a board member and Chairman of the Audit and Finance Committee of the Hong Kong Airport Authority, and also a board member of the Hospital Authority. Mr Hung also sits on the Insurance Advisory Committee and the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee, and is a member of the Council for Sustainable Development as well as Council Member of the University of Hong Kong. Mr Hung is Chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s Financial Services Advisory Committee, as well as Chairman of the Steering Committee of Asian Financial Forum 2011 and 2012.
Mr Hung is on the board of the Community Chest and the past Chairman of the Community Business Leadership Team, focusing on promoting corporate social responsibility in Hong Kong.
Mr Hung holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and is married with two children.
