Two current Undergraduate Students, Mr. Christopher Lee [Year 4 – BBA(IS)], and Mr. Leslie Li [(Year 4 BFin(AMPB)] have been nominated by the Faculty as student representatives for attending the Cultivating Authentic Leadership Beta Gamma Sigma Conference in Washington, D.C. from 8-10 February 2024.

The 2024 Cultivating Authentic Leadership Conference boasts a comprehensive program comprising keynote sessions, workshops, panel discussions, and other engaging activities carefully curated to facilitate an in-depth exploration of the realm of Authentic Leadership for all student representatives. Additionally, the conference provides invaluable networking opportunities, enabling BGS members to connect with accomplished leaders and fellow members from across the globe. Beta Gamma Sigma is The International Business Honor Society recognising and honouring top performing students from around the world in business schools accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). An insightful interdisciplinary Workshop on “AI in Business” was successfully held by the HKU Business School’s Institute of Digital Economy and Innovation (IDEI) on December 9, 2024 at HKU-iCube. The event brought together esteemed scholars and industry experts at the cutting edge of AI research, as well as over 100 participants engaging in the exchange of brilliant minds.
