FBE students wins four prizes in the HKSI Institute Scholarship Programme 2019

Four undergraduate FBE students took part in the HKSI Institute Scholarship Programme 2019 and were awarded Champion, 1st Runner-up, 3rd Runner-up and Finalist.

 

Since its launch in 2004, HKSI Institute Scholarship Programme has provided university students an avenue to widen their horizons and advance their career development for the financial industry.

 

Participating students were required to write an 1000 word essay on the topic “How can your career development contribute to uphold Hong Kong’s status of international financial center?”. Selected finalists will be teamed up to work on a research project and presentation at Outreach Committee. Awardees will be offered cash prizes and job shadowing opportunities at renowned companies including CBH Asia and Morgan Stanley.

第五屆「香港大學中國經濟季度論壇」 探討中國宏觀經濟的挑戰與機遇
港大經管學院中國經濟研究所聯同北京大學香港校友會舉辦的第五屆「香港大學中國經濟季度論壇」於1月23日圓滿舉行。論壇雲集了多位著名經濟學者和工商界領袖,共同探討中國政策方向對全球經濟的影響以及當前中國經濟的熱門議題。一眾講者透過主題演講及專題討論,就中國宏觀經濟、金融及國際貿易在全球格局演變下所面臨的挑戰和機遇分享了寶貴見解。論壇於香港大學本部陸佑堂舉行,共吸引近350位工商界領袖、傑出學者、校友和學生出席。
